SURSORB NGC is a nuclear grade impregnated granular activated carbon. It is specially designed for removing Methyl iodide and other radioactive isotopes of iodine generated from nuclear power plants.

Coconut shell charcoal based activated carbon is virtually dust-free. It has a minimum 97% removal efficiency for radioactive methyl iodide. This material meets Nuclear Regulatory Guide 1.52. SURSORB NGC is free of ammonia. It contains no heavy metals like copper, lead, mercury, nickel or chromium.
